How to use this tool
- Load a purchase CSV or try the example. Include supplier, SKU, quantity and unit price; description is optional.
- Review the column mapping and select the currency used by every price in this batch. Add a reference prefix, date and optional buyer name.
- Confirm current quotes and quantities, then generate drafts. Each exact supplier name gets a separate draft; review every line and subtotal.
- Download the full CSV, or select a supplier and download its printable HTML draft. Open that file in a browser to print or save as PDF using the browser's print menu.
A worked example
The sample groups three lines into two drafts. North Supply: 40 × 2.50 + 65 × 3.20 = USD 308.00. Harbor Goods: 22 × 8.75 = USD 192.50. The complete batch is 127 units and USD 500.50 in merchandise. Download the sample CSV.
Know the limits
- Outputs are drafts for review. This tool does not send purchase orders, contact suppliers, reserve stock or place an order.
- Totals include merchandise only. Freight, taxes, discounts, delivery addresses, delivery schedules and payment terms must be confirmed separately before use.
- A batch uses one selected currency. Changing currency does not convert prices. Unit prices must fit its minor-unit precision; excess decimals are rejected rather than rounded.
- Quantities are positive whole units. Pack sizes, minimum order quantities and supplier availability are not applied; review these before preparing the CSV.
- Duplicate exact SKUs within one supplier stop the batch. The same SKU may appear under different suppliers. Identifiers retain case and leading zeros, and ambiguous whitespace must be corrected.
- Reference numbers use your prefix and the supplier's position in this file. They are not globally unique or reserved; choose your own reference prefix for each purchasing batch.
A few useful answers
Can I start from the reorder planner?
Yes. Calculate a reorder plan and download its purchase-order starter CSV. It includes all SKUs with a positive suggested order, regardless of the current table filter. Add a supplier and a current unit price for each row, review the quantities, then load it here.
Does the tool pick a supplier or fill in prices?
No. You supply the chosen supplier and current quote. Blank prices are not treated as zero, and a suggested reorder quantity is not a supplier commitment.
Can one file contain several suppliers?
Yes. Exact supplier names are grouped in first-appearance order. Each group receives its own draft and merchandise subtotal. All prices in a run must use the selected currency.
Is there a PDF download?
The tool downloads a standalone printable HTML draft. Open it in a browser and use Print, then Save as PDF if your browser supports it. The file includes its own layout and does not need an online account.
Are the CSV or supplier details uploaded?
No. Input files, buyer details, calculations and draft generation stay in your browser. Optional feedback contains only your selected answers, never purchase data.
